Position Overview
ZC Productions is a full-service digital marketing agency based in Maryville, Tennessee, specializing in video production, photography, social media management, advertising, and website development. We partner with businesses across the Knoxville and Blount County region — from local small businesses to major corporations — to help them grow through powerful visual storytelling.
We are excited to welcome a motivated and creative high school student to our team as a Work Study Student for the summer. This is a rare, hands-on opportunity to work inside a professional creative agency, contribute to real client projects, and gain experience that goes well beyond the classroom. You will work alongside our team of videographers, photographers, marketers, and designers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with creating and scheduling content for client social media accounts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
Support videographers and photographers on location during client shoots and in-studio productions
Help conduct client and market research to support business development and outreach efforts
Assist with basic website content updates and design tasks under staff guidance
Organize and manage digital files, photos, and video assets
Observe and participate in client meetings and project planning sessions
Contribute creative ideas to campaigns and content strategies
What You Will Learn
This position is designed to give you a real look inside the world of digital marketing and creative production. By the end of the summer, you will have:
Hands-on experience with professional video and photography production
A working understanding of how a full-service creative agency plans and executes client campaigns
Exposure to real-world client relationships and professional business communication
Practical knowledge of social media strategy and content creation
Insight into the creative and business side of digital marketing, advertising, and website development
Qualifications & Skills
We are looking for a student who is creative, curious, and eager to learn. No prior professional experience is required — just a genuine interest in media, marketing, or creative production. Ideal candidates will have:
Currently enrolled at a local Blount County high school
An interest in photography, video, design, social media, or marketing
Basic computer skills and comfort with smartphones and digital tools
Strong communication skills and a professional, team-oriented attitude
Ability to work with some independence while taking direction from supervisors
Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed
Schedule & Compensation
Summer position (dates to be confirmed upon hire)
Part-time hours — schedule coordinated with school work study program requirements
Compensation: Tennessee minimum wage
Work performed on-site at ZC Productions, 512 W. Broadway Ave., Maryville, TN
Some assignments may involve travel to client shoot locations in the greater Knoxville area
